I have a Costco and Sam's Club within an hour from where I live. Neither beats the job I lost in commute but that's the best I got right now. If they're not hiring I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I refuse to apply at the local Walmart (yes, I know they own Sam's Club but nobody sees them as same.) What are the rest of you planning for the future?

You can get free cobra until 9/30!...
Costco is tough to get into. They will not tell you what jobs are available and so you apply just in general and if something comes available they will call you.
I'm transferring to another club temporarily. Currently driving 45 minutes to this place as opposed to 15 for where I will be. I already told the gm there it was only until I get something with better pay and he was fully understanding. If it wasn't for the insurance which I literally cannot live without I would have said thanks but no thanks. Good luck to all in similar predicaments.
