It’s over for DQ Aberdeen how many years have you been hoping for something that’s not coming . Sc go home and see the family they probably need you more than DQ does
My tuppence worth is maybe because Islas Malvinas is British Territory with a lovely Spanish sounding name. I would suspect all the logistics will be handled out of Britain which already has established sea and air freight shipping to the Island unlike Houston.

Think about it ! Why would they ship anything from uk/europe to a project off the coast of south america ? Its easier to supply the fabled sealion from houston
Sealion will NOT be coming anywhere near dyce plant if and it’s a big if dq are involved at all now!
I just heard from a parrot on Union Street that the renamed Harbour Energy is going to be ramping up a certain project. So I would say it's a safe bet that DQ will still be around a lot longer than the Mystic One's prediction.
No more consultations, here today gone tomorrow.Start planning and looking on your options, not long now.
