No real hospital uses Allscripts. The only hospitals that use Allscripts are hardcore, debt-ridden, public aid hospitals that ki-l people. Me, my sister and brother are MD’s. The only way we would buy from Allscripts is deep discounts on licensing.
Allscripts doesn’t get it. It’s about ease of use, ease of implementation, and customer service.
Went to the lab once and the intake person was training someone while they processed my info. I asked "Is that a new system"? "Yes" she replied. "And it's so much better" I bet you can guess what the old system was.
When I worked there No employee used doctors who who used Allscripts...or Misys EHR.
Went to the doctor last week. Information in my file was missing and they had to ask for some information again. Seems that they switched from Allscripts Sunrise to Epic and had to enter some info manually during the conversion. So, there's another customer gone from Allscripts.
Well back to square zero? Another sunrise client dumped sunrise the past week...
Who is the VP of Sales ?
What’s the public affair situation? PB and the the VP of sales?
I assume you are referring to UHHS in Cleveland that is moving to Epic. UH is the 2nd largest Sunrise customer after Northwell and that revenue loss will hurt. It is amazing that the public affair issue you referenced has been allowed to continue with no consequences.
It really doesn't matter that they closed this new logo. They would have to add 200 or more to make up for the revenue loss from attrition. And, there is more to come....the last of the AS/Sunrise Academic Health Systems has made the E decision. So many very bad strategic decisions got them to this point, all under the current leadership team (PB, LK, RP). And still, they survive (even through public affairs).
First new Sunrise sale since December 2019.
Maybe the Qu
een Bee will get another promotion.
