Typical UP sh1t! One location gets a good manager, and then that manager quits. It proves the point that the UP doesn't want good people that can think for themselves. They want people that they can program to do what the UP wants, and not what's right.
Yates was cool as hell man. The morale has been at an all time high in the diesel Shop and service track cause of him and work is actually getting done happily. Too bad UP wouldn't work with him and his family affairs. He resigned and hopefully we don't get another bean counter A hole that thinks they are better than you like Deaver F'ing all the progress up. Last thing I want to see is people finding more broken parts on them locomotives, you know?

He probably got fired, just like everyone else.
He quit. No story here...directors relocate half-way across the country and quit a few months later all the time. Are you new to railroading?
