After the layoff, I lost many contacts of dear colleagues with whom I worked. The year was very turbulent and I really suffered while I found a new job, but in the end everything turned out better than I had hoped. Honestly, I thought the layoff would totally destroy me.
I would like to know how you went, did you manage to find a new job? I hope there is no one that ended up badly suffering after the layoff.

I found a new job. Took the time off to focus on a career change. Now I have more than doubled my salary, Full benefits, 401k + Pension. Life does get better after seaworld, ive heard it time and time again, those who leave seaworld are better off. I can say I am now part of that group whos life improved after leaving.
I did awesome...Thank you SEA. I found a job paying $10.00 more an hour than I was making, full benefits - vacation, holiday, medical (real medical), 401K match, leaders who foster growth and truly mentor, and co-workers who enjoy what we do.
Best thing that ever happened to me since being hired by SEA/BG...was being furloughed. THANK YOU!!!
