I don’t know if it’s funny or tragic when they explain that we’re overstaffed. Really? Oh, give me a break. I don’t know how they figured out that we are overstaffed. I never did more work. According to some free estimate (which is certainly more accurate than how they measure) I do work for 2 or even 3 people. I’ve been working here for a long time and I guess I know how much work I do and how much I’ve worked before. But no, they want to convince me that I don’t know what I'm doing and that we are actually overstaffed.

Find another job! I know it is difficult because you are as you said busy, doing 3 peoples job, meaning you don't have time to look for something else.
I know a lot of people at Citrix, especially the once with 10-15 years that has been through a redundancy, accelerates once again ,I am quite sure all of those (if they are still around) are doing 3 peoples jobs. Which is why it is frustrating when the C-levels think we have too many people. If they get rid of the "wrong" people, they will end up with x3 the current staff they have.
