Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

CWA-9 WE ARE READY WE ARE ONE..

The Frontier contracts expire at 11:59pm on September 4, 2021. CWA intends to enter into collective bargaining with Frontier in March of 2021.

To prepare for bargaining, your CWA Bargaining Committee needs to hear from all members about your thoughts and preferences regarding the proposals that will be presented to Frontier.

To receive your input, this survey has been prepared for you to complete and return to your Local no later than February 26, 2021. This survey will be used to determine bargaining priorities and mobilization strategies for the Frontier Bargaining Units in 2021.

"we are one" is a good way of blaming members for the leaderships mistakes-just like the union tries to tell the employees. Things aint lookin so good on the other side of the fence, sounds like CWA was made for Frontier - both failures at what they do.

Will the union stay as one when there is no company left? They just keep pumping members heads full of false information and distractions to take focus off the train wreck. Glad I never paid a dime to any useless union, still got the exact same benefits, raises, time off, etc. Jim Jones would be proud of CWA.

I don’t know what happens in your area, but CWA WV has bargaining power. Stay strong District 9, their scab division couldn’t hack it in Appalachia.

Probably the only game in town, can't bring in contractors, no one wants to stay there, not like FLA, CA, Texas. Let's not get too hyped out. consider yourself lucky but your time will come.

When will the CWA provide training on how to steal union members dues like 1298 did, in solidarity?

CWA knows it has no bargaining power, it's basically the same survey they dole out at every contract talk. They just hired a bunch of newbies, who will get the axe? Will it be the senior guys, deadwood, seniority c-ap or the newer guys, trained by the deadwoods, already trained to sleep in their vehicles.

We want to hear from members, CWA wants to count how many request will be denied. CWA has no leverage
