Thread regarding Fossil Inc. layoffs

How long did your optimism last?

I remember my first day here and how full of optimism I was. I had finally gotten rid of the last company in which I went through all sort of nightmares. Optimism in my case lasted only two or three weeks. I immediately realized that I hadn’t accomplished much by coming here and that the grass wasn't much greener here. Now I regret that I didn’t stay at my old job at the time.
It is this experience that makes it difficult for me to look for a new job, I am afraid that I would end up getting into something even worse.

Not sure what you are looking for in a job, but reality is every company has internal problems and no company is perfect.

If you are not satisfied here and not looking outside just because afraid in getting something worse, it is the worst thing you are doing to yourself, why would you waste your precious time working here when management won't recognize your hardwork and may not be promoted unless you are their favourite?
Also this company will shrink sooner or later, if you are in the batch of next layoffs, you would be forced to look for a job outside, so....why not starting to look outside for a better change?
