Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Been a day: 'The Nature of Unnatural Relations in Exiting Systems of Corporate Capitalism.'

A long day of recovery, this Sunday. Probably lost 400 dollars of spoilt freezer food.
Crawfish tails to feed the local deer.
The last red-bean casserole my mom ever made.'
Gone.
But - at least we stand with confidence. Things will get better.
With ExxonMobil and the its sponsors and recipients.
Positively.

If you are too stupid to move food into garage or outside to prevent spoiling you are definitely NSI and deserve PIP. If was below zero outside and you couldn’t keep food from spoiling? You call yourself an engineer? mo–n! id–t! Or just really lazy?

If there is no winterization of the plant, piping or windmills, none will work. We winterize the homes, sites and pipelines in northeast every fall. Prepare for the winter. I understand things are not same for most folks in TX, but the authorities / companies should have done it. They had 10+ days warning. It takes couple of days to winterize. This disaster did not need to happen. It is a sheer negligence.

Wow. I had to study a little bit on this for background.
Los Macheteros is the name of our band now.
No Future - like the $ex Pi$tol$ used to say.

I am Darren Woods.

No - I am Darren Woods.

Do not listen to these others. It is I - Darren Woods.

Well, if you are from another state, your statements are correct.
I can't count but 30 million people live in my state - Texas.
That is about half the size of France.
One tenth of VietNam

I only wish it was just a state of mind. It is not.
The fact I work for a huge multinational corporation that insists on having a state of mind - it disturbs me.
It made my family eat canned food and boil water with a propane tank for 3 days.
It is not a state of mind. It is a state of state.

Must be difficult to live in a failed state. Especially if you've convinced yourself you value your independence, while constantly panhandling from the rest if the nation you despise.

Gotz to say, the name Blurd Tossem is totally insane and relevant.
My first laugh in a week.
From a broken-down Texan, it says alot.

It is hard to be Objective about the last days.
It's even hard to be Subjective about it. Very hard.

I think OP was simply stating this from a Dejective pov.
Or, maybe, as a Rejective.

In any case, there are other inputs.

I don't find it trivializing.
I did the same things.
And I seek blame.

Takes a real man to trivialize the plight of so many suffering people. Glad you find it humorous.
