Kellogg to cut 250 jobs at Mariemont plant

Kellogg (NYSE: K) told Mariemont Mayor Bill Brown in a Feb. 2 email it will shut down two production lines at its Mariemont facility, resulting in the layoffs of 165 workers in its plant at 1 Trade St. Additionally, the April 2019 sale of its Keebler cookie brands and Famous Amos to Ferrera Co. means the agreement to produce those lines locally will end this year, resulting in the loss of another 65 jobs.

Talked to a friend who still works there, they cant keep (Temp) workers because they're running them ragged 24/7, and that he sees the bakery shutdown at the end of the year.

Not a big surprise when they eliminated 15,000+ employees in 2017. For the last ten years they have been moving more production to Tennessee, non union right to work.
