Layoffs are coming and we all know it. Consistently occurs post MAP. To be prepared, any recommendations on companies to start looking at? Who’s hiring?

Think duhvita is hiring they need some teammates who sing very loudly, cheer, throw balloons in the air, and do silly skits for a few dollars above minimum wage. Walk the plank is the bestest times at the teammate meetings with parakeet shirts and boomers sword fighting for a buck
Thanks! Am over 60 and no luck thus far with getting a job. Got so many career coaches etc.. they say same thing for hundreds of dollars of consulting. We'll see what happens. Need health care and to pay the rent.
Career coaches tell people to only put the last 4 employers or the last 10-15 years on your resume. Prior to that it detracts from your most relevant and experience. Putting the most relevant job history on your resume helps avoid age discrimination issues as well.
It's sad. alot of boomers can't get jobs.
Just submitted to a job in my area. 1104 applicants. Lots of folks unemployed. Getting zero bites. Most likely due to my age since I am over 60 and it can be calculated based on my years of service.
If you are young, it still great. No one wants old people.
Maybe adjust that spelling and learn proper grammar, that way, you will certainly get a huge bonus and gigantic pay raise. LOL. Good luck to all on that sinking ship

Look on Indeed or get a headhunter.
You can work at a fast "food" joint or pan handle. It's the americant way. Basically, pound sand, and kick rocks is the US plan of action in a failed empire that still permits lay offs.
