Thread regarding Sears layoffs

It’s high time to leave

I have no intention of causing panic, but it is my well-meant advice to highly prioritize looking for a new job. Taught by my experience, it is terribly difficult to find an alternative. There are more candidates for one job than ever. I know a lot of wonderful people who work there and we all hope the company will get through this, but I’m afraid that Sears is over.

Mr. Lampert only hopes one thing to end Sears with two purposes: That the pandemic ends so that he can rent or sell the properties and that the last employees to leave do not have extended unemployment benefits due to covid 19.
