The beginning of this year is not promising at all. It would not surprise me if there happen to be many more dismissals by the end of the year. I hope for the best, but I expect the worst. Uncertainty is bad enough.
Does anyone have any insights which quarter or which month could bring the next round of layoffs?

What a great way to run a company. Spend millions on hiring and training a workforce and then get rid of them to make the next quarter look better than the last. While failing to have any grasp on the inefficientcy of your actual operational expenses.

Today Houston diesel got walking papers. All that remains are four of the most useless individuals the railroad has known. Maybe their uselessness will shine through and soon they will bring back the ones that have carried the load. Time will tell 😁
Ummm have you seen the performance volume updates ? BNSF is falling off a cliff. Furloughs are coming soon, probably within the next weeks
