His message to employees is so uninspiring? Seems like more of pray and hope that oil hits $100 and we ride the wave? For the 4-5 years he has been here, the only notable thing he has done is to destroy shareholder value, and yet he touts compete to win?
But he’s not alone in this. The board is complicit - and has been piss poor. For those of you thinking of leaving, do it quick before the house of woody cards collapse on you.
Milking it as long as possible and retiring soon as things get good again so he can go out on an up cycle

I can’t see how adding more old school O&G folks onto the board is going to help matters or have radical thinking. What happened to the #firewoods movement?

The most disappointing behavior from Woods and the board is rewarding themselves with healthy restricted stock options without taking a reduction from prior years, whilst thanking the rest of the staff for carrying on in the face of job cuts, pay freeze and other benefit reductions. Woods had a great opportunity to take a personal sacrifice like a true leader would have done.....but no, he feathers his own nest and bumbles along with a very suspect strategy....
Just wish we had decent leadership to help steer us through these difficult times
Right now, the Woods is having people check that generator.
That hot water heater is not hooked directly to his generator, so it seems.
Getting colder outside. Those hot showers - 11 AM and 8 PM - corporate necessity.
Otherwise: going to be cold, going to be dark, and it's going to last the rest of the life!
