All of Baker Hughes is ran by QHS&E and HR. this is why management is not held accountable and why the turnover is frequent. I spent 20 years with BHI and have been gone for three years. took me some time to being an actual manager again after that 20 year run.

I’ve always wondered about that. How come the competition in almost every business better? And why does this company lack the authority to keep VPs accountable? There are leadership roles that haven’t delivered on OTD, invoice targets, margins, or NPI for years, and these leaders are also mentoring the next generation of leaders. We’ve promoted plant management that delivered less than 10% OTD to an EB role. Why? This has gone on long before Lorenzo’s time in GE, but this company needs to find an identity.
I don’t really care if the plant is staying open or closing. It doesn’t matter at this point in the game. This isn’t an environment or a leadership that I’m willing to subject myself to anymore.

There is no way BH will sell/shut down all their assets in the North East. They still need a footprint in Aberdeen even if they did shut some offices. BOD for example own that site and the amount of kit in that place will be too valuable to sell off/shut down. Some disgruntled ex employee making things up no doubt..

We got all the reject GE executives, think about that for a second. We did GE a favor and placed an abundance of terribly inept executives, including our CEO. Sh– management gives you sh– results. Unless you believe, Covid and "Market conditions" are good enough to excuse piss poor performance in 2021 as well
