So much for the onion giving back again, from wages and pensions throughout the years to the CA agreement/ jobs. It did nothing for job security the membership is in shambles. I see layoffs coming 03/01/2021 for 273. GE plays the onion like a fiddle. I’m prepared saved money paid down my bills ready for a career move to a real company.

Tell you the truth I can not wait for my layoff slip. 273 has gone down over the years. This is the worst I have seen it here. Morale is at an all time low and no one cares. Even the shop stewards cont preach hope anymore. Everyone knows that another substantial reduction in the work force is coming. I am going to take my first chance I can to get out and never to return. The legacy history of working for this big company is far from what it use to be. It is a shame that a company of this size would short change the employees the way they do. They claim to be hurt on money but yet big bonuses go to the fat cats or the 1% of America. While the rest are sc-aping crumbs off the floor hoping to get a nice meal.
