Correction
Avp for inside sales lives in the same market of one of the centers
Headcount and sales for inside management has a higher roi than majority of sales management roles in the company. RSDs only manage 75-100 heads Compare that to the outside or any lob and do the math on responsibility or roi.
This is the structure that any acquisition would see as an asset.
Inside sales need to deliver the sales to maintain that roi and have job security with this company or someone that acquires. No group free from layoffs inside or outside performing or not performing - as future unclear. Control your own destiny.

Staples can go under AFTER they finish paying me my severance.
Once they lock the doors, employees that are left will get nothing.

Massive? Who the heck is left? Unless the company doesn’t think Inside sales needs 2 VP’s, an AVP that doesn’t even live in the same state, multiple directors and tens of ASM’s to manage 120 something people anymore.
