Thread regarding GE Healthcare layoffs

GE, a disaster past and present, has TERMINATED over 47% of their workforce the past 3 YEARS. Yes, 47%.

Do you know how terrible this Company has performed over the past several years. Many retirees and employees have been destroyed via their 401k's. But this is very interesting: GE, a disaster past and present, has TERMINATED over 47% of their workforce the past 3 YEARS. Yes, 47%. So, not only have their past employees been destroyed in their retirement accounts, they have been TERMINATED, also. WHAT A DISASTER! Pathetic management has crippled so many hard working Americans who, unknowingly, wanted to work for this company. SAD! VERY SAD!

And yet the CEO Larry Culp hauls in a $47 MILLION dollar bonus for the stock price being over $10/share. Defend that GE BOD! The sh!t with this Co. just keeps continuing. Go ahead Larry Culp and Kieran Murphy fire up to 80%, heck go for 90-95% see where that gets ya!!

Siemens and Philips Healthcare are you paying attention? Your GEHC competition is floundering, time to pounce.

GE hasn't terminated 47% as claimed here. A significant fraction of the reduction in headcount came from the sale of various business. Then there were thousands who left voluntarily and weren't replaced. GE did, sadly, let go of many thousands of people over that timeframe, but not nearly 47%.

Sorry, but if your 401 was destroyed thats your own fault. Fidelity options, as far as plans go, are pretty nice. See if you werent so blind, you wouldve made better choices and moved your money. You can do that, yes? Do you even know your login password? Probably not. Few of these fidelity choices seeing double digit green YoY . A bit late for you, as you went 100% into GE and probably bought at 40+.

I think we will all get a decent raise this year, thats maybe they reduced so much work force.
They want to make us happy because that will help growth. I think when Larry Culp might even distribute some of his bonus money to all employees once his bonus check clears the bank.
Gooder days are coming.

To the gullible new guy drinking the koolaid: take it from a long time employee and wake up before you are the one looking back wondering why you have your best years to a company that doesn't give a rip about making a decent product or treating people fairly.

I like working at GEHC, I hope some of the old guys will leave if their unhappy. That would give me a better chance to survive as the new generation. Sadly I don't have a pension as newer employee.
Great place to work.

The numbers are real, this place is a shadow of what it once was. C’mon GEHC pay me to go away as well. Trust me I will not look back! Miss a few colleagues, yes, not many, most are too arrogant and walk around with their laptop under their arm and their nose in the air.

GE has sold a bunch of businesses such as: Transportation, Appliances, Lighting, etc....

So the numbers sound more than the real numbers.
