For the unfortunates out there, are you receiving emails with the “pay stubs” for your severance payments?
Or are you just seeing seemingly random sums of money dumped into your bank accounts?
It seems the HR folks aren’t quite in control...

Just call payroll. I called day a lump sum was deposited and they confirmed it was the vacation payout. I had them confirm exactly how many hours total from 2020 cov and 2021 entitlement. Asked that they email me paystub and was sent same day. Severance pay is different and they have no knowledge of it. For severance email the hr email that was sending docusign info.
mind letting us know where you got this answer from?
the email literally specified the last day on payroll.
Nothing matched. My supv didn’t know squat- called my manager and she figured out EM’s error and got it fixed in the same day. Supervisor don’t know anything. They are communicating the company line. Call your manager.
If you were notified Dec 2nd, then Feb 2nd is your last day on payroll.
we’re they really supposed to only pay for one day in February? or was it supposed to be for two weeks in Feb (when we are off of payroll)?
I got my vacation payout (no stub) and my single day on the payroll in February (paper stub in the mail).
Isn't Payroll run from Argentina? That might explain it.
BONUS....remember if you had unused 2019 vacation that you were paid for those unused hours. It’s the biggest mess I’ve ever seen in a separation program. Why? Because they moved up employees into Supervisor positions to handle this stuff and they were clueless! It kept Managers from having to do the dirty work and prevented them from having to answering questions. Why? Because they’ve lied so much they can’t tell the lies from the truth!
Received a final payout of Pension Lump Sum in November.
Delivered by USPS to my mailbox on a very rainy day in Houston.
Unsealed envelope. My name was mis-spelled.
Is that 103 Million?, my grandson asked.
Not an efficient organization.
Same here. I asked for a pay stub and it didn't match what was deposited. Email US.Payroll1@exxonmobil.com for specifics.
Yep just a random sum
Can confirm, random sums of money. Definitely doesn’t reflect any single payment I was expecting. Are we really surprised EM would botch this up, though? Not at all. You should have received an email yesterday outlining who to contact if things look off. Obviously get on that sooner than later as they are soon going to be receiving hundreds of not thousands of questions.
