I’m sure they’d like it to be fake. Worst company two years in a row and a national embarrassment on Glassdoor. No it’s real. They’re not getting invited to career fairs and college graduates aren’t interested. Sure they still get some applicants. Radio Shack gets applicants too. So do the limo companies. But UP has to throw bonuses just to fill conductor classes! And forget trying to hire college grads with offers from other companies. Nope.

You really should look up past career fairs regarding the UP, and see the attendance results before you call something fake. Your statement hinges on the idea that the UP was always bad. The UP was a decent place at one time, but got real bad in the last 6 years. The UP IS THAT BAD! there are other jobs that are better, and yes some do pay less. The last sentence tells me that your not very observant. People are in fact leaving to get away from the company. Most people are REFUSING to go back when they get a call to come back. Please feel free to fact check that if you'd like.

Just fake postings.........they still have plenty of applicants. If it’s as bad as some make out, they would have zero employees....including the ones posting here. If other jobs were so easy to find, and so much better, even if they paid less, then again, there would be nobody working at UP.

Then nobody would work at UP. That would be funny

If the people that don’t want to work here would just go work somewhere else maybe this place would be a great place to work. Read it again and slow if you need to! What is the employee count and what would it be if that happened?

It’s easier recruiting people into the Army infantry than UP.

Well, if that happened last year then it would of been January or February. But it was definitely happening before then. These young kids are doing their research and word is out on the sh– show UP is. Most schools aren’t even inviting them anymore due to the company’s lack of ethics and the way they treat people.

What!? Nobody wants to work for the most admired company? Hahaha
