I see comments about playing golf, poor management, etc.. I get it, the list can go on and on about how employees feel about their manager. When the dust settles and these "poor managers" as some call them have their ticket pulled and that last day of employment comes as a shocker... think about what put you there. When you have to explain to your family that after either several years at Staples or finally getting settled in at Staples after a few years and today is your last day. Where are you going to go now? Who is going to pay you the 6 figures you have been making? Last, the life you have been living that saturates you in debt the "ol' keeping up with jones" attitude does not work anymore. All I can say is WELCOME TO UNEMPLOYMENT! The key is to always live below your means. Any company, any day, it could be your last, through no fault of your own. Don’t live as if everything will last, because it never does and jobs and situations come and go. Whatever happens, life goes on. Make sure you’ve positioned yourself in a place you and your family can still live, no matter what, until you get another job. Plan and save your money. Took me a long time through experience to get here. I’m enjoying my time here, but have a realistic attitude. Not my first rodeo with a large company.
Ridiculous! I think we live on separate Planets!
