Thread regarding Keurig Dr Pepper layoffs

Keurig Dr Pepper became the worst place to work once they bought Dr Pepper

The Vermont layoff was inevitable. They were going to close Williston 2 years ago. Jason K. and Jen H. were leading the initiative. It was stopped at the last minute, but now it is going forward. Who didn't see this coming once Spartanburg was built. The Spartanburg plant has the capacity to take all Vermont production as well as...wait for it...Windsor and even more. Trainers were let go, CI leaders were let go, support staff to was let go. They don't care about their own people they just care about paying off the Germans and the senior leadership. Question for everyone...How much does Bob make? 50 times the average salary? 100 times the average salary? If the average salary was 50k per year then he made in 2019 180 times the average salary. Culture means nothing to KDP and that was the first to go. What everyone is saying on this forum about KDP is all true and there is so much more, but that is for another time.

OMG You are spot on! There was a person laid off the other day and here is what happened. The person that was laid off was told not by their supervisor or the supervisors manager but a VP from an entirely different department that they were being let go. The persons supervisor didn't even know and the supervisor manager didn't even have enough courtesy to video conference and at least participate. The VP said to the person, "Your supervisors manager (not saying names) appreciates your hard work". We'll, if the supervisors manager cared about this person, they would have at least called or something. I have heard many stories like this. Not a place I would want to work at!
