Honestly, so far I haven't been trying too hard to find a new job, but these days it’s becoming my priority.
When I look at how things are developing, the future does not seem bright for this company. Despite everything, I think there are still a lot of talented people here. I don’t see much reason for anyone to stay here and as long as they have a decent skillset they should be able to find something else?

Staying out of loyalty to other people. It’s not pleasant most days and I pay money out of pocket to be here but I care what happens to the people I work with. This company would gladly accept my resignation and leave things vacant while redistributing the work to those who remain with no increases.
I assume others stay for loyalty too, or fear of change or seniority even with the most meager benefits, why start all over with the devil you don’t know.
There have been plenty of new talking heads since X, most are all hat, no cattle as paw paw says.
Larger question is why are any of the legacy senior leadership still there? Not hard to see the weakest links.
