so feb 3 rolled in and nothing changed... so who got cut? what roles changed?

Bridal Registry going away in most stores. Most people use the Kiosks or do most of their registering and gift shopping online. I had to uninstall a Bridal desk setup last week so it is unfortunate. The Associates were able to stay in other positions, they are good people. I can see movement and consolidation of certain areas in multiple sites. Fur Vault went away before that.
If no cuts,then why all the planting of fear to lose your job pods ?
Jobs were added at the corporate level too for executives across multiple business pyramids. Anyone on here saying Macy’s s—s is ignorant. It might not be the best place to work but it’s still putting money in people’s pockets which is more than the government is doing so go be bitter betties and cry somewhere else bc no one here cares.

No cuts for hourly so most likely some at the executive level.
Macy's is dead. These people crowing about jobs got added - low end, dead end jobs. Whoopie. Nobody shops at Macy's anymore - well nobody that has taste or wants quality or any type of customer service.
Bridal was cut in most stores already, ours were cut in August 2019. Even the flagship store in my district lost all but one of theirs at the same time.

NOBODY got cut.
