Can anyone verify that if you were ILOd last year that you would get the bonus? Was it in writing/email/memo?
Most funny part with this bonus, here in Winnipeg Plant, most of the office job are still enjoying their “work at home” with their family and will received this bonus😂😂😂. While the people in the production line are working in the plant and in danger if this Covid. Just wondering what are the 5s group and engineers are doing as a “work from home”, the battle are in the plant and what will they do at home...feel sad for boeing...some are taking too much advantage on it...
In response to the "if you report someone to Ethics/HR"....
I am reminded of an incident in which a young not-so-valuable girl worker reported an old but-very-valuable guy worker. Well, Ethics/HR first determined who was the very valuable worker (untouchable, belongs in the "boy's club"). Then they proceeded to "twist" words to the point that outsiders would come to the conclusion that she is the bad person (not the other one).
Worked all thru 2020. ILO in January. No bonus for me, and none for my friends still working there. I was an office person, not union. Their Ethics department is not only a massive joke, they’re actually quite compliant in covering up all sorts of unethical behavior. Theft, s-xual harassment, cooking the books - if you report someone, get your boxes and tape cause you’re going to get booted.
I was laid off in July if 2020 - in September I already had a much better job...
So glad you upper brass are getting bonuses ... that fair !! Right !? I work on the floor and actually do touch the airplane. While you just make your own scheduling from home . Nice!
We are risking are A– in a heavily employed area everyday. We should get hazardous pay!
BS...you definitely deserve a bonus! We risk our job so you can sit home and collect a bonus.
To E.O.,
Sorry you lost your job to these mafia type tactics by “leadership”.
I see this happening more often.
It is now part of their workforce reduction tactic, it is cheaper to fire than to layoff.
Best of luck to you.
I was a non-manager employee and I was discharged after 9 yrs of service on 01/08/2020 in retaliation for my floor shop manager, my 2nd level manager, and the manager above was embarrassed and called at there homes on Thanksgiving Holiday weekend 2019 by a flight line macho, kick your a–, super manager to line up proper support. When the support arrived I discovered the job had expired material on it and I provided Mr Macho Flight line manager documentation that clarified this. I was fired for unrelated misconduct that they conjured together. My Employee Corrective Action Memo said by preponderance of evidence it was determined I acted in misconduct in a unrelated incident. ( In other words I got F@#*ed ) in retaliation for me not completing the job with expired material on it. In retaliation for doing my job right to the document and engineer's disposition. I did not get an employee bonus for the work year 2019 that would have been given in February or March. In addition I did not get the $5000 last payout bonus from when dumb f—s voted are pension off. I will look into it and if I get anything I will respond back. Thanks
We have an ethics department?
There you go spreading unsubstantiated rumors again.

The OP's comment that 60% of Boeing managers are non productive is a tad low. It's more like 95% of Boeing managers are non productive. And in addition to managers, the entire HR and Ethics departments are 100% useless.
The bonus is less than 5% for most BCA employees and is based on a 2020 wage which is less than half of what you make working for Amazon or Microsoft. Besides there is no raise for 2021, only stock options which vest in 3 years. Comment about boomers is incorrect, there are many smart people stuck at Boeing as Aerospace is a niche industry needing specialized skills which are not easily portable. Also Boeing has 60% non productive employees (most managers) who constantly whine, leaving the other 40% to do all the work. Naturally recruiters and hiring managers in the area assume Boeing applicants are from this 60%
If course boomers stick around, they are the highest paid employees. Western Washington’s cost of living is way too expensive and Boeing does not offer competitive wages for new college grads/early career engineers compared to what Amazon and Microsoft offer. I am glad I left Boeing 4 years ago, got myself a huge raise by moving to a cheaper cost of living location
Agree with the poster commenting on the brain drain. No offense to boomers, but they are the only ones sticking around at Boeing. Those who can get a better deal take it. There are talented boomers at Boeing but many are complacent and desensitized to abuse. Some small pittance of a bonus won’t convince any millenials to stick around though, not in a workplace as dysfunctional and poorly compensating like Boeing.
Its a sign of losing too many lower level white colors to Lockheed and Northrup. Its an attempt to combat brain drain. Top grads aren't interested in joining. Young engineers fleeing to competition. Its a standard response to a serious systemic issue.
Or maybe Boeing just truly values its employees above profits. "Ooooh Yeeeaah!", says Kool Aid man.

Now, take the total payout to each employee,
That sum is the bonus David L. Calhoun will revive.
It’s cover for robbery.

Blackstone Taps Turnaround Pro David L. Calhoun to Advise on Buyout
Any employee who worked any portion of time in 2020 regardless of ILO, VLO, retirement, or quitting looks to be eligible.
With all the dept Boeing is taking on, perhaps they setting themselves up to being a take over target.
If this rumor is true, than only Boeing employees who are not managers or executives should be eligible to get the bonus. Everyone who was involuntary forced to leave Boeing last year should get one too. Managers already get their own bonus that only managers can get, and it is a bigger bonus one than non-manager get.

Airbus Pleads Guilty And Pays Record 4 Billion Dollar Fine
For 15 Year Long Global Bribery Scandal
In 2020 while the world was focused on Boeing,
Airbus bribed public officials and hid the payments as part of a pattern
of worldwide corruption and paid the biggest fine in aviation history.
See the story you have probably never heard.
AIrbuses 4 BILLION dollar fine for bribery is on Maximus.
Airbus is as dirty as Boeing
I was not expecting this from Boeing.
So any $ I get is ok.
Finally something positive for a change.
Do you get one if you left unwilling sometime last year?? My guess is he$$ No. That's Boeing for you.
If you were an employee at any time during 2020 you will receive a (prorated) bonus. Perhaps 7 to 8 days pay but it is confusing to try and figure it out from what they provided.
