Thread regarding Farmers Insurance layoffs

So once the MetLife purchase is finalized, how long does anyone think that they’ll layoff more staff? Obviously acquiring MetLife looks to be a dodgy decision on their end, but if we take on their employees, does that mean more staff layoffs?

Based on some info that came across my dept recently, I fully expect to get laid off by the end of the month. Part of a Met dept that came over that has seen a lot of "restructuring" the past 2 months.

Coming over from Met and I expect to see layoffs, at least for associates on our side. Maybe not right away, though. Good luck!
