Fy21 just ended and now if somebody leaves in like March, will VMware still pay bonus of FY21 which gets issues in April mid?

If you are not an employee on the payout date, you don’t get it. Period. Payout will be late April this year.
It has been announced internally that bonuses will be paid on the April 15 paycheck. Do not leave before receiving your money. Even if you earned it through the end of FY21, do not trust that they will actually pay you if you have left. I have asked about this in the past on multiple occasions, and have gotten mixed answers. In short, hold on until you get your bonus in hand.
It's very simple. you only get a bonus for the period (past fiscal year) if you have worked for at least 4 weeks during that period and you're still actively employed on the date the bonus gets paid out.
Pay out dates vary by country / region, but the US should expect either the mid-April or end-of-April paycycle.
I think bonuses will be paid in April, but not sure if they will be on the April 15 paycheck or at the end of April.
The VMware fiscal year is the actual year +1. I think that came from the DELL acquisition.
And: Your will only receive your Bonus if you have an active contract.
So yes, quitting before the Bonus period (March/April) is a pretty stupid idea.
Yea our FY is stupid. 11 months of every year is wrong. We just started FY 2022. As to the bonus, pretty sure you do NOT get paid as your direct deposit is no longer active. Even if your manager earmarked you, I don't think you get it. That's why you shouldn't leave until end of March, beginning of April.
“FY21 just ended” - I’m confused, did someone invent a time machine?
