About a week ago an email was sent out to select people across several business pyramids that McKinsey partners are coming into to try and “understand processes” and what tools we use etc. Basically another consultant company coming in to make morale even worse and help Macy’s cut more people when the jobs were doing now are barely manageable unless we’re working 12-14 hours a day. Unbelievable. The big wigs at it again protecting their own bottom line while they sh*t on the people who have been busting their asses all year.

Something is happening today a lot of meetings and closed doors at my store? Any word what it is?
McKinsey will put out their Mc"Kinsey" Report and I wonder what kind of "Love" they will propose. Lot's of McKinsey "graduates" go on to work at hedge funds, private capital, and venture capital (sometimes vulture capital). There, they can make a lot of money taking advantage of all the "improvements" that they have suggested.
Look out everybody and get ready. McKinsey & Co. is a hatchet company. They streamline operations with emphasis on the bottom line. Closures and layoffs.

McKinsey to pay $573 million to settle claims over o—id crisis role.
Consulting firm McKinsey & Co has agreed to pay at least $573 million to resolve claims by 40-plus U.S. states related to its role in the o—id epidemic and advice it gave to O-yco–in maker Purdue Pharma, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The settlement is with 43 states, the District of Columbia and three territories, the person said on Wednesday. Several attorneys general said they planned announcements on the o—id epidemic on Thursday.
They included Vermont’s attorney general, T.J. Donovan, whose office said it would announce its participation in the first multi-state o—id settlement “to result in substantial payment to the states to address the epidemic.”
Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson said he had reached a separate, $13 million settlement with McKinsey that was on top of the reported multi-state agreement.
McKinsey did not respond to requests for comment.
McKinsey previously came under scrutiny for its role advising Purdue Pharma and the wealth Sackler family that owns the d–gmaker.
A lawsuit by Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey alleged McKinsey advised the Sacklers on how to “turbocharge” o—id sales.
Purdue filed for bankruptcy in 2019 as part of a proposed settlement it valued at $10 billion to resolve lawsuits alleging its painkiller marketing helped fuel the epidemic.
More than 3,200 lawsuits are pending, seeking to hold d–g makers, distributors and pharmacies responsible for an o—id addiction epidemic that according to U.S. government data resulted in 450,000 overdose deaths from 1999 to 2018.
The lawsuits accuse d–gmakers of deceptively marketing o—ids and distributors of ignoring red flags indicating the pr-scrip-ion painkillers were being diverted for improper uses. They deny wrongdoing.
The states and local governments have been also in negotiations for settlements with d–g distributors Cardinal Health Inc, McKesson Corp and Amerisourcebergen Corp and d–gmaker Johnson & Johnson.
Aren’t they the organization that also advises employers on who to layoff?
Macy's does everything but listen to their employees who actually work with the customers day to day when it comes to how they can improve the business
This is the type of company that Macy’s choose to work with:

Are they going to get rid of Michael Bolton?
I’ll explain why this won’t work. Nobody at Macy’s from the ceo down listens to reason or has common sense. They will waste their money and get same results. Macy’s has big meetings about stuff and two weeks later it’s gone for good. Just flush the down the toilet now called Macy’s
"Consulting giant McKinsey charges clients up to $16,000 a day for its most senior partners, according to its successful pitch to the Morrison government to transform the Human Services Department."
What do you make a day?
Just failure on top of failure
No one named Bob.
"What would you say you do here?"
Is McKinsey sending the two "Bobs"?
