Folk's you read it here. Meijer's is invading Giant Eagles stronghold territory. More Meijer's stores are being built. They will seriously take a piece of the pie from the Get -go's ,the g.e banners..and the indepedent banners including Sparkle.Possible layoff's and demotions will be on its way.

Let's be honest giant eagle needs a kick in the pants from Meijer they've enjoyed somewhat of a monopoly since Tops chopped off there Ohio arm back in 2006. As a company giant eagle had gotten complacent letting prices get high allowing some of there stores to deteriorate not having competent management ECT
Shouldn’t be too difficult hiring 11 under-qualified family members to fill those roles considering the endless amount of nepotism at Giant Eagle!
Hurry Giant Eagle, we MUST hire an additional 11 executives to develop some sort of Meijer defense programs that won’t work and additional E-Learnings while cutting labor if we are to survive this invasion! In fact, let’s hire an EVP and have them be in charge of pencil sharpening while overseeing a full team of folks telling retail how to sharpen efficiently.
This is the ONLY way we are to survive for the long term!
