The job at Macy's completely exhausted me. When I got laid off, I felt relieved. The problem was not in the company itself, but I simply realized that the job in retail is not for me and that this dynamic does not suit me at all. However, not having a source of steady income worries me, especially in today's economy, so I quickly applied for as many jobs as I could and now I got the opportunity to work in retail again. Honestly, I’m torn between the option to take the job that I do not like and the option to use my savings and give myself a little vent until I find a job that would make me feel fulfilled.

I'd give retail one more try I worked at another retailer before macys and macys is 100x more demanding
Who knows where this pandemic is going to take us having a rainy day fund is smart and you could always still be looking for a new job while working
I totally understand. But keep the n mind this pandemic isn’t over especially with these more contagious and more deadly variants! We don’t know what’s going to happen and it would be a shame for you to deplete your savings. Keep applying for jobs you really want and give your 2 weeks if offered something you want. This is what I would do. Good luck!
