It didnt double but actually went down for the higher paying cusotmers. There are loop holes to bring it down by a third easily and 90% + of the new deals this year are at that range or less. GS is already short staffed and this will prevent new hires.
It depends on each customer situation in some cases moving to a PREM SKU the customers save money as they cross over there are 4 other franchises its not always just about SDDC
What do you mean by "doubled"? Are you talking about standard Production support or Success 360?
Also consider the prem customers p-ss-d off and their VMware + $160 K a year Tams/SAMs will be out to keep their jobs . Watch your backs..
