I was laid off in 2019 and had some connection with PTC. It wasn’t working very well when I was there. Has it improved at all since then? Just curious.

Undulating territory is the worst with Trip optimizer. I love how since they have implemented this with the extremely enormous trains they have had to creat a whole break in two group or task force or whatever these clowns call themselves to figure out why trains are breaking apart. We’ll I have the answer it’s because of the ridiculously large underpowered trains that are being operated. I can drive home drunk from the bar every night wasted and get away with it for a while but eventually something bad is going to happen. I sure hope the FRA gets their act together and puts the the hammer down on these clowns!
Ptc with EMS Breaking trains in pieces on heavy grade ondulated territory pulling draw bars because it runs worse than a fireman on his/her first day running
I hate trip optimizer. I don’t think it really saved fuel. If it does have a small savings it’s negated by delays, overtime, toe-in, etc. This should be done away with.

I can't stay awake
It works great, Now we use Trip optimizer with auto control and you will be on a train cleared for 70 and only go 30 because apparently of the fuel savings. It’s very brutal on crews when you are going slow in the middle of the night unable to stay awake. Safety is out the window so watch yourself if you are coming back.

How is Unified plan 2020 working? Well it flopped and they moved on to something else and don’t talk about it anymore
