Our store is being told to start transfers to other stores next week and last week we started getting some clearance merchandise transferred in. The SM said we are just heavy with merch compared to other stores, but we don’t have that much merch. Could they be prepping us to close and just not telling us the truth yet?

There are stores closing and a list has been compiled...but it’s not “public” yet. So mangers know if their location is closing.
The fact you are getting in clearance items AND having employees transfer are BOTH signs your store is closing. (The liquidators usually try to sell clearance that cannot sell).
I’m sorry 😥 can I ask the location because there’s already been about 5 confirmed. Just curious if I heard the store or not.
That would be my guess as well, but who knows with this company.
