Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

So many resignations

Anyone else notice how many resignations have occurred since bonus payouts in mid-March? Particularly in the female population. Not unexpected by many of us, but seems to be coming as a surprise to people at the top as they scramble to uncover the reasons behind the exits. It’s a bummer they won’t hit their diversity targets now, given that’s seemingly the only thing they’ve been working on in the last 12 months. I wonder how Teradata plans to deliver the “strategy” without their “valued” talent. Unless... maybe they’re excited about all the room we’re making to hire more white male executives to the point where the company may tip over in top heaviness. If execution has always been our problem, what’s another executive going to do about it, hire an expensive group of amateur hour consultants to tell us what we already know and demand their teams make it happen in 6 months at all costs despite lacking clarity? This place is such a mess, start the wind down already, the stock price won’t last seeing how it’s going.

'If history has taught me anything, it’s that open ultimately becomes the winner,'
History can teach you many things depends on where you look.
Irony of things - preaching openness while leading the product dev at a company with patents and IP worth most of it's stock market value. I'm not saying that in itself is a problem, it's obviously a valid choice - but then what on Earth is she on about openness then?!?

"look at how cute I look in glasses!" The person is not leadership material. We need knowledge. Not an Instagram influencer. And before anyone gets hurt, I'm not talking Male vs Female. I would appreciate the diversity that is built from knowledge rather than reading from a script.

There is definitely bias and discrimination alive and well at TD. I know of more than a few female former employees who filed HR complaints against a male employee, and guess what, those people were conveniently part of a big lay off. When male leadership says "nothing to see here", the female workforce will either stay hoping for HR to actually do their job (heh right) or quit. Looks like at TD they're finally choosing the better option. Good for them.

I love it when someone trolls the trolls and they get p!$$ed. Who ever you are keep it up.

I used to work at Teradata in EMEA and I still have many friends there. I never like to see such vile and vitriol spouting from passive aggressive trolls.

Teradata has provided the only numbers that matter. Revenue consistently down quarter I’ve quarter. There. How’s that for trolling?

Trolls where are your numbers to support your POV or claims? So many sad negative people with nothing better to do. Jog on, jog on.

Ask around for stories about how M.e and CT treat women.

You think they will fire her? If they are truly horrible leaders they will be promoted. DH has a talent for ensuring CSS is full of the world's best scum and villainy.

I've been wishing my Director would resign! It's just a matter of time before she's fired though. Customers value honesty and time and time again, her ways have been revealed.
