Yes, this is happening and will probably be a done deal by 3rd quarter this year. Step 1 in splitting this company up. If you know anything about how the company is structured, then you will come to realize that after this first step, there are 2 steps remaining. If you are in a shared services role and want to have a job once all of the smoke clears, my advice is to keep your eyes open for internal job postings related to specific segments and apply.
A handful of executives will get their liquidity bonus and everyone else will get screwed.
