I didn’t get laid off, but I’m under so much pressure now that I’m going to have to quit my job. It's certainly never been this bad before. Is it just their tactic to get rid of more people without giving layoffs, I’m not sure, but that’s how it looks to me. Another colleague of mine left the other day, for these very reasons. I would just like to know what's the percentage of those who have left on their own lately.

let's be realistic, what did you expect? Its a business, you are a number and it sounds like with 27 years of service somebody had it in for you. You must be pretty smart because you were a threat to somebody and the only way that person can get ahead is to re-orginize their teams. I hope you can find another role with another company but you got to look at it as a business, keep emotions out and focus on the money.
You are free to leave. Nobody is begging you to stay. In fact maybe you should leave, you sound like a poor picked on me type employee.
Welcome to the “show”.
Just got laid by TC Energy 27 years service. They put on a show for the public safety and ethics they say are#1 behind the scenes it’s who is buddy with who. They asked for crazy results very stressful a lot of the younger PM’s and engineers are right out of college no experience but they know it all
It all depends on your manager. If this is happening I would move to another department. Or ask yourself why they want to get rid of you?
Good for you the cancer is spreading...
