I have a friend in Utah who has been waiting to be laid off for a long time because he literally had nothing to do. That’s why I am worried as well. I’d rather be overwhelmed with work.
Now I’m worried about how long it can last like this with very little work, because so far I haven't had any success in finding a new job.

Even in the high desert locations they watch YouTube, and buy stuff off amazon. I quite a few weeks ago, because it was the same type of slow just prior to last years layoffs. i also have a certain amount of pride and just sneer at people who tell me to just live with it and enjoy the free money. free and accountability eventually comes to bite you.
Then it’s busy as usual! I am a bit shocked most people just watch YouTube all day or take naps
