Thread regarding Dril-Quip Inc. layoffs

What will remain of the former DQ?

What is it I'm hearing, are the redundancies in focus again? How many people this time? What will remain of the former DQ?

I still stop by this forum sometimes just to see how the things are going, but all I can do is give a little support, if that means anything to anyone. I was out of my mind when I got laid off and I thought my whole life was going to fall apart because I didn’t have a lot of savings and the market is the way it is, but... I got the job very quickly. The market is very bad, but it is still possible to find a solid job. Good luck to all!

Another 16 at this point , wouldnt be surprised if they@ right size “ or “fine tune” again in another 90 days , what they should actually be doing is getting rid of the unecessary number of managers/supervisors . But i guess they wont mind picking up the tools when every bit of talent they had is gone
