The parent company of Sears has decided to close a Far West Side call center, laying off about 67 employees, it informed the Texas Workforce Commission in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN letter.

The company wrote that all the layoffs are expected to be permanent; however, not all positions are being eliminated.
