My worst fears were confirmed as my entire team was eliminated on an all call. Don't think it won't happen to you, we were told for months we were "safe," layoffs were in other parts of the company.
Save yourself and look elsewhere sooner than later.
We can probably all name a lot of them that need to be canned!

Just learned of a team in Sales Operations, VP was let go. Their position was eliminated and the team was split up elsewhere. Did not hear a mention of people being let go besides the VP but maybe this person was part of that group.
LOL - Illegal for ADP to lie to employees? Really? Wake up. That is ALL they do!
For OP - Post ID: @OP+19TcDc9d When did this layoff occur? Is this recent ? how many people in your group were let go? What group was it? I don't think it's legal (it's certainly not ethical) to literally tell people they're safe when they know these people will be laid off.
Really - please don't talk to folks like children. Things do not always "open" when a door gets slammed. Do you think that being laid-off to "save" money so they could hire incapable people to replace years of dedication and extremely high performance might be pretty devastating for some depending on circumstances? What if you had a series of other life changing events and a number of family deaths at the same time? What if you were in a situation that a series of crushing and unfortunate events almost drove you to end it all. And all set in motion from the desire of a CEO to treat people really horribly to cover for his inability to lead the organization in a positive way. Now ADP is a real screwed up environment for everyone, including the clients.
Sorry to hear this.... just keep in mind, when one door closes another one opens. Also, having been downsized myself, I can say for certain that life outside of Adp is far better than life working for Adp.
Sorry about what happened to you. I hope that you find something better. With as low as ADP has sunk, just about any new work environment would be better.
