Does ANYBODY still have faith in this leadership?

"product that is essentially a user interface in front of open source software packages."

Not that I am a particularly big fan of any of the recent acquisitions besides cloud health and carbon black, but isn't that essentially how RedHat and frankly VMware made money in the first place?

It's not the code, it's how you help average people avoid using the cli and skip repetitive typing?

VMware leadership should be investigated by SEC for fraud. They keep buying these so called companies with Indian founders that have questionable value and product that is essentially a user interface in front of open source software packages. Unfortunately due to the political chaos in the country for last several years, SEC has become spineless and these people are running lose.

The leadership bought another useless company started by Indian founders called Mesh7.
Another company with so called "product" made by doing some addition to open source software. I am sure key decision makers are making good money at the expense of VMWare stock holders. Whole leadership is full of corrupt Indians.

What leadership? Vmware is a company that is based on racism. Hiring and promotions are based on whether you are from India or not. I am talking Palo Alto. H1B Indians gets promoted. Citizens gets blocked, sabotaged, and alienated.

This company’s is a sinking ship. Jump off because soon once lawsuits accumulate you will regret that you were just part of a racism system.

I feel genuinely sorry for the customers who are staking their organizations and their livelihoods to this train wreck. Every year the customer experience declines; with products that don't work, don't integrate, support that doesn't really help, and the only answer offered is to hire overpriced professional services consultants (who are often learning on the job). The success stories bandied about in the press and at company meetings are a cherry-picked few exceptions to the many, many failures or non-starts that are the overwhelming reality. At the same time, though, VMware is built upon servicing a dying customer base; who is losing relevancy and influence to their own organizations by the day. Even now, VMW is fixated on chasing the developers; all the while that the industry is moving to low-code, no-code platforms and technologies. Talk about being one step behind...

Bunch of non inspirational leaders who are resting and vesting. These are the folks who have caused the ship called VMware to sink. Coming from EUC, I have seen how Microsoft continues to eat our lunch and dinner while leadership continues to flounder in every area related to VDI on Cloud or Airwatch.
