Interesting that vons is #1 in California. When kroger (rodney) cares so little about market share. He would close 7 stores in the market. Competition says thank you.

Store Closings on west coast are indeed related to piddly $5 per hour hazard pay ordinances in specific cities.
This is petty cut-throat corporate greed at its worst.
Impact not only the affected employees but the 'communities' in the Kroger 'family.'

Since February Kroger has announced the closure of 7 stores, due to hazard pay mandates: 2 in Long Beach, 2 in Seattle and most recently, 3 in Los Angeles.
Stores have been closing since before you were born.
