When did you leave Macy's and after how long? I have been with Macy's for four years and have grown with this company. Started as a teen and have worked other jobs on the side in addition to Macy's but seem to always keep Macy's. I have offers with other companies and have been told by people in my social circle that it is time to move on. What made you leave M and what is life like outside of Macy's?

March 2016-March 2020. 4 good years with Macy’s! I left because I knew there wasn’t a future anymore. I was so grateful for the opportunities Macy’s gave me. I’m now working in the Texas Medical Center. There IS life after Macy’s!
Left beginning of new year 2020 after 6.5 years. Loved it when i started. Cried in stockrooms and at the thought of coming to work the last year. I made it a point to find something new and did right before last years cuts. Totally different field, 9-5 professional position. Small company and they treat their employees like assets and I’ve never been happier in a job. There is hope and opportunity out there. It just takes time, allot of applying, and jazzing up/customizing your resume to each opportunity. Sell yourself to interviewers. You survived Macy’s poor management and Black Friday retail. You can survive anything lol Good luck
