BTC Attrition - Reality

When we were asked to send work to India, some guy showed us BTC attrition at less than 5%. It was implied that it is that low due to the amazing Expat supervisors who are creating a culture that enables folks in India appreciate long term nature and prestige of working for ExxonMobil.
Don’t know the truth, but the data that was shown was saying attention in BTC is really really small.

Attrition is actually quite high there. Their pay in not competitive. They typically come in for a year to get the training then quit.

This might be true at the center level since most of the employees are geoscientists or core engineers (production, reservoir, well etc). They don't have much opportunities at Bangalore. Ask them about the attrition rate of computational and data sciences job family. Alone in the Data Science
& Optimization section, one third have already resigned. Many more will go in the upcoming months. No trust in the management. On one hand, they PIP/layoff and on the other hand they hire for the same role.

Give me some keywords from the pack to search for on the intranet. I’d like to see it. I’ve heard we train them then they leave for greener pastures.
