I am desperate because I fail to get to the interview phase in my job search. Some say retail is recovering but I can’t trust their estimates more than what I see for myself.
It seems to me that the situation is terrible. A huge number of people apply for every open position. I’ve been trying for three months now, to no avail.
However, I wouldn’t want to stay here even if they promised that I certainly won’t get laid off, that’s how I feel.
