They could do 3 to 1, but then again look how the contractors are working out for them. The less the experience out there the worse it gets.
Why would they hire people back when they can hire 2 newbies for the price of an experienced tech

Why would Altice call back employees who were laid off when they could just use contractors instead? We all know that’s what they want anyway. Also, if they wait longer than a year, they don’t have to offer you the same salary, benefits, position etc. that you had before. Altice isn’t very good at anything, the one thing they are good at though is screwing people over. Time to move on.

Moving everyone back to USA was just to fool local governments. They will never add the amount of workers back that they let go.
Plus if they wait just a little bit longer they can bring you back at whatever they want in pay . That’s at will employee trusting the company for ya .
