Targy/Wally are just fun nicknames for Target and Walmart, much like Chevy is for Chevrolet, Beamer is for BMW, Coke is for Coca-Cola, etc.. Of course I Know what the real names of the companies are. There's a difference between intentionally using a playful nickname, and ignorantly using poor spelling, grammar, syntax, or sentence structure, in the English language. No need to be willfully obtuse, mo–n. English is a very easy language to use. Try it Some Time.

Targy and Wally are fun nicknames for those stores, much like Coke, for Coca-Cola, or Beamer for BMV, or Chevy, for Chevrolet. There is a difference between an intentional use of a playful nickname, and the ignorant use of poor English spelling, and/or grammar. I Know fully well that the full names are Target, & Walmart, for the record.

The grammar Nazi douchebag strikes again! It's not "Targy/Wally", it's "Target and Walmart". Learn to use proper names, jackass! Where the hell do you even get Wally from? It's not Wally World and it's not even named after a guy named Wally.

very funny . He needed to hurry inside to go to the bathroom. The inventory was garbage. Do you think he really preferred Kmart over Target or Walmar?. He admits prices are higher.I think this is a fake news spoof!!

Location of adjacent stores has NEVER came into discussions"

You mean has never COME into discussions, not has never CAME into discussions.

Anyway, it can be a factor. If a WM opens up next door, then it hurts the store's business (obviously). There are very few, if any Kmarts that are close to WM's or Targets anymore. When a Targy/Wally open up near a Kmart, that's the eventual Death Nail. Might not be right away, but the writing is on the wall. No town is big enough for a Kmart and any other major department store. Kmart always loses that battle. They can linger on in odd locations like Hamilton MT, Guam, USVI, Key West, etc., where there is no B&M competition.

Surprised you even thought that thought went into deciding the fate of stores stores staying opened or closed based on logic or location.
Location of adjacent stores has NEVER came into discussions of what stores open or close

Thank you. Honestly, I can't figure why they kept 2 Kmarts open so close to each other (Kearny, Belleville). And when Wally in Kearny opened up, the writing for both of these 2 Kmarts was already on the wall. Surprised it took this long. Also looking at the recent videos for the other 2 NJ Kmarts, looking decrepit and empty, it looks that there might soon be none left in NJ.
