SVS takers eligible for unemployment?

In the US, if you take SVS, can you apply for unemployment afterwards?

LOL that you think the government won't regulate crypto. It's hilarious to get advice from a bagholding gas/oil hack on the future of anything, let alone currency. Spoiler alert: the US government is producing its own digital currency, and Yellen has already indicated that she will regulate crypto.

Convert that svs payout to bitcoin. Collect the unemployment and crypto that up too. Stonewall everyone. Shell and all these govts can worry about sustainability, but keep your F-inch hands off MY money

You can and will be approved by your states unemployment dept to collect weekly claims after your severed. They have no clue about when you receive a severance package payout. If your worried simply don't claim unemployment the week you get the severance disribution. A no-brainier folks. Shell pays those claims. Don't you want to squeeze every dollar you can from the greedy Dutch Ba$t–ds as they throw your a– to the curb?

Believed the max for UI in Texas as of now is$521/week. They have a question to ask you : Did you begin receiving ,or has there been a change in your receipt of income from the following sources: Select YES, if apply: Retirement Pension, Disability Pension, Supplemental UI, Private Income Protection Insurance, etc.. but not asked any specific amount.
I do not think that will be a big reduction of your weekly UI( Might be 10-15% max of $521.00).

In Texas, yes. But any retirement or severance payments will be deducted from your unemployment benefits for that week you receive retirement, disability or severance payments. Assuming your honest and tell the govt.

Probably you can, as i see the guidance in UK /EU that Shell will respond as the SVS reason is redundancies. So, I i am not so sure but you can check ! or apply as that reason ! if they refuse than ok !
Also, pls read this article as well - https://www.oregonlive.com/business/2021/02/is-president-biden-to-blame-for-9000-layoffs-at-shell-no.html
