We all know Nordstrom is cutting everything that doesn’t make good money. I know at my store, Cafe Bistro bleeds money. Literally a few customers a day even on the weekends. With the cuts expected to continue, could underperforming restaurants be the next to go? Macy’s recently closed their restaurants in their Minneapolis stores.

Free food coming to some buildings. Free pizzas on fridays. Too much money and need to spend, buy, buy, buy
I have a feeling that cuts in Nordstrom Alterations are coming soon. Macys just got rid of their tailor shops/alterations in almost all of their stores. Nice service to offer customers but it just never has/never will make money.
Move the tech people out to a cheaper location outside the main CBD area. Tech people will be happy if car parking is free and give them some free coffee or soda
I was told by a cafe manager at a store local to Menlo Park that Menlo Park lost 500,000 in 2019 running the cafe. White plains & Roosevelt Field had a second restaurant in the 90s/early 2000s. Funny enough this second restaurant still stands in both stores behind a fake wall. In White plains it’s behind a fake mirrored wall in at home on 3.
Follow boscovs (a much better ran department store) & ditch the restaurant. You could keep some at flagships. KOP Paramus & NYC on the east coast for an example.
Hey! The jannies whacked my thread asking about the CMO.
I'm guessing bleak still works there...
We got to go to the grill for lunch one day as a reward and it was really pretty underwhelming...
Exactly!
Who wants to eat a $20 hamburger when I can make 10 in my backyard? Or $15 sandwich with soggy fries perhaps?
I can feed my hungry friends sandwiches with store bought fries ($3) whole bag that tastes better for free! Sure u can make one at home.
Show respect to a disrespectful company who management belittles and makes fun of employees. I don’t think so!!! My guess Bleak is your a former employee still under the influence. I mean christ you spend night and day on here
The restaurant at Northgate 002 was so depressing, a real morgue.
