Is there a reason to truly give it your all here anymore? The layoffs and promotions have shown that it's not the merit that matters at GD but rather excellent brown nosing skills (and being related to somebody higher up doesn't hurt.) So what then is the point? Why even bother working hard when the only reward you get is more being thrown your way?
